IT Business Analyst, Device and Mobility Management (Onsite)

Support SAP and mobility systems for Smithfield Foods as an IT Business Analyst. Improve business processes, implementations, reporting, and enterprise system performance.

Description

  • Serve as the main contact for business users with system issues, working with IT teams and vendors to resolve incidents and improve performance.
  • Gather business requirements, write functional specifications, and prepare and run test scenarios for enhancements and new implementations.
  • Evaluate business processes, identify automation opportunities, and recommend suitable technology solutions.
  • Support implementations and upgrades by preparing training materials, leading user sessions, creating super-user forums, and confirming business readiness for go-live.
  • Set priorities, manage schedules, allocate resources, and report progress to leadership.
  • Provide application support, troubleshoot issues, correct data, and coordinate with IT support teams.
  • Create reports and dashboards for operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Work with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement and exchange best practices.
  • Help shape annual plans and strategies by aligning system enhancements with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university plus at least two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • General knowledge of IT systems and SAP.
  • Strong understanding of interfaces connecting SAP with third-party applications.
  • Ability to assess system capabilities, analyze data, and recognize opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience connecting business and technical teams through systems support, requirements gathering, and testing coordination.
  • Ability to guide change, advance operational excellence, and support continuous improvement.
  • Experience coordinating timelines, deliverables, and resources across multiple projects.
