German-Speaking Compliance Officer – Partners Group, Baar

Support Swiss and European regulatory compliance at Partners Group, a global private markets investment manager. Manage controls, audits, filings, AML reviews, and regulatory initiatives.

Description

  • Oversee Partners Group’s Swiss compliance monitoring program and risk assessment
  • Maintain compliance systems, processes, and controls
  • Carry out investigations when required
  • Prepare and review recurring compliance reports, directives, and procedures
  • Help coordinate regulatory filings and reporting activities
  • Contribute to regulatory projects from planning through implementation, including AIFMD II and SFDR II
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors
  • Compile documentation for regulatory audits
  • Advise on marketing activities and assess marketing materials
  • Complete AML checks for Partners Group AG
  • Monitor regulatory developments across Switzerland and Europe
  • Support the Head of Compliance Switzerland and the Global Heads of Compliance in Zug and London
  • Deliver regulatory guidance, policy advice, and compliance expertise to Partners Group teams in Switzerland

Requirements

  • University degree in law, business administration, or finance
  • At least five years of relevant compliance, legal, or audit experience in asset management
  • Strong knowledge of asset-management regulatory compliance
  • Capacity to work independently and efficiently in a fast-moving environment
  • Demonstrated ability to implement processes and procedures effectively
  • Strong interest in using technology to improve compliance processes and workflows
  • Willingness to collaborate with IT and business application specialists on compliance automation
  • Sound critical-thinking ability
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
  • Highly analytical, organized, and effective at solving problems
  • Self-directed approach with the ability to learn quickly
