Fund Accountant - Bangalore (Hybrid)

Manage fund administration for CSC clients in Bangalore, including NAV calculations, transaction reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit coordination.

Description

  • Deliver daily fund administration services while maintaining strong client relationships
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients and other fund participants
  • Apply company policies, procedures, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Calculate NAV, carried interest and performance fees, and investor allocations for capital calls, distributions, and equalizations
  • Prepare or review related reports and statements
  • Keep accounting books and records complete and accurate
  • Monitor cash and investment activity and complete regular reconciliations
  • Coordinate and process payments
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Coordinate annual audits and liaise with auditors
  • Escalate business issues to the supervisor promptly
  • Help implement new processes and procedures
  • Work across teams to resolve client needs and develop solutions
  • Complete ad hoc duties and projects assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

  • CA fresher
  • Work effectively under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines
  • Demonstrate strong time management and client service skills
  • Maintain a positive outlook and adapt to new challenges
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues
  • Communicate clearly in written and spoken English
  • Use Microsoft Office applications proficiently
  • Experience with accounting software such as Investran or Geneva is an advantage
