Full-Time In-House Business Intelligence Consultant (Hybrid, Germany)
Advise flaschenpost teams on Business Intelligence, data-platform use cases, analytics, and automation. Build data products, develop internal BI enablement, and support the grocery and beverage delivery business through workshops and technical collaboration.
Description
- Guide internal stakeholders across Business Intelligence topics
- Help business departments implement data-platform use cases, including solutions on Azure Databricks
- Analyze data and build products that turn findings into actionable insights
- Investigate innovative technical approaches and validate them through representative proofs of concept
- Expand the internal knowledge base to strengthen self-service Business Intelligence
- Create training programs and facilitate data-platform workshops
- Partner with Cloud Data Engineering and Data Warehousing teams to advance the data foundation
- Transfer finalized requirements and prototypes
Requirements
- University degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Business Mathematics, or a comparable field
- Background in project work with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting to others
- Experience developing requirements analyses
- Strong interest in data, analytics, and automation
- Collaborative, results-focused working style with excellent analytical and conceptual skills
- Fluent written and spoken German and English
- Practical experience with Spark SQL or SQL
- Databricks and Python experience, together with a strong technical foundation, is advantageous
