Description

  • Develop production-ready full-stack software spanning user interfaces, backend services, REST and GraphQL APIs, and enterprise integrations
  • Produce clean, maintainable, testable code across multiple languages and programming approaches
  • Review implementations while supporting mentoring, pair programming, and timely engineering feedback
  • Create and integrate unit, integration, and system-level tests
  • Design and deliver scalable event-driven systems and microservices architectures
  • Embed AI, machine learning, and large language model capabilities through agentic workflows, retrieval-augmented generation, AI-assisted development tools, and intelligent automation
  • Build and refine CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and software delivery infrastructure
  • Keep product leaders and architects informed about technical risks, blockers, and changes affecting delivery
  • Use algorithms and data-informed methods to solve web and application problems
  • Convert business objectives into technical requirements, implementation plans, and measurable outcomes

Requirements

  • At least three years of professional application development experience covering the software lifecycle
  • At least three years of demonstrated full-stack web development experience
  • At least three years of hands-on experience developing, integrating, and delivering modern software products
  • At least three years of development experience on a collaborative Agile team using structured code review and automated DevOps practices and tools
  • Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, including data modeling, querying, and integration across application layers
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada
  • Ability to meet controlled-goods safeguarding requirements
  • Eligibility to work with US export-controlled data
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline is preferred
  • Advanced degree in a related field is preferred
  • Experience incorporating AI, machine learning, or large language model capabilities into software applications
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure or comparable cloud platforms, containerization, infrastructure as code, and observability
  • Experience modernizing legacy software or contributing to brownfield environments
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data workflows
  • Familiarity with Databricks or a comparable platform
  • Experience working across cross-functional technical teams
  • Experience in aerospace, industrial, manufacturing, transportation, or similarly complex regulated US-based environments
