Full-Stack Core Developer — MaintainX, Montreal Hybrid
Build MaintainX’s industrial maintenance platform across web and mobile. Develop scalable workflows with TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
Description
- Improve customer workflows spanning planning, parts management, and reporting
- Address complex challenges across data-rich interfaces, large datasets, offline functionality, and multisite scalability
- Define architecture and engineering standards for newly established teams
- Streamline complex desktop and mobile user experiences
- Build and ship features from initial planning through production release
- Partner with product managers and designers to establish the team roadmap
- Maintain the reliability and performance of an assigned domain or system over time
- Review code and support the growth of other developers through mentoring
- Advance development tooling, testing, and software delivery practices
- Join the team’s on-call rotation
- Assume complete ownership of a functional domain or system within the first six months
Requirements
- Five or more years of professional experience developing full-stack web or mobile products
- Hands-on proficiency with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
- Experience building mobile-first, responsive products through iterative development
- Track record of producing maintainable, testable code
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to make progress on ambiguous problems before requirements are fully defined
- Regular use of AI tools within the software development workflow
- Experience with GraphQL, React Native, or SQL databases is an advantage
- Experience with scheduling or calendar interfaces, large-scale data interfaces, offline-first or synchronization systems, multi-tenant or enterprise platforms, workflow engines, or inventory and transaction management systems is valued
- Legal authorization to work in Canada is required
