Frontend Specialist (React) at Vivo — Hybrid in Brazil

Lead the architecture and development of scalable frontend applications for Vivo’s payments platforms. Work with TypeScript, microfrontends, design systems, and web performance.

Description

  • Act as the React frontend authority responsible for advancing web applications
  • Help define and evolve scalable, modular frontend architectures
  • Provide technical leadership for digital solutions while maintaining architectural alignment
  • Coach teams on frontend engineering standards and best practices
  • Build reusable components and integrations with enterprise design systems
  • Assess technical trade-offs and guide architecture decisions focused on performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Advance frontend frameworks, libraries, and core technical foundations
  • Maintain technical quality through automated testing and robust development practices
  • Solve highly complex frontend engineering challenges
  • Champion web performance, optimization, loading efficiency, and user experience practices
  • Support frontend governance and standardization across applications

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or a related discipline
  • Extensive experience developing with React and TypeScript
  • Background designing scalable, modular frontend architectures
  • Experience with state management tools such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API
  • Experience building componentized interfaces and integrating design systems
  • Experience consuming REST APIs
  • Experience with microfrontend architectures
  • Experience writing automated tests with Jest, React Testing Library, or comparable tools
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build automation
  • Proficiency with Git or another version control system
  • Experience improving web performance through code splitting, lazy loading, and memoization
  • Knowledge of WCAG accessibility practices
  • Experience managing dependencies and using modern build tools such as Vite or Webpack
  • Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments is preferred
  • Experience with enterprise platforms and OAuth or OIDC authentication is preferred
  • Experience with distributed architectures and event-driven backend integrations is preferred
