Front-End Developer (AEM) – Onsite in Sault Ste. Marie

Build accessible, high-performance Adobe Experience Manager applications for OLG Digital. Develop React or Vue interfaces that connect with REST APIs and cloud-based enterprise services.

Description

  • Create, evaluate, implement, configure, and test modern, responsive, accessible web applications for OLG Digital
  • Work with business and product teams to gather requirements, establish scope, estimate effort, and shape scalable technical solutions
  • Build and maintain responsive, accessible, high-performance web experiences with Adobe Experience Manager
  • Develop and enhance AEM templates, components, content models, permissions, and policies
  • Create reusable front-end components, libraries, and design patterns
  • Partner with UX, architecture, QA, back-end engineering, and business stakeholders
  • Connect front-end applications to REST APIs and enterprise services
  • Improve performance, accessibility, scalability, and cross-browser behavior
  • Conduct unit testing, troubleshoot defects, resolve issues, and support the software development lifecycle
  • Manage source code, configuration, and deployment repositories
  • Advance CI/CD automation and refine development, testing, and release workflows
  • Support change and release management, deployment coordination, service readiness, and production launches
  • Deliver advanced technical support and address complex application problems
  • Assess technical risks, dependencies, and constraints, then communicate mitigation plans
  • Create technical documentation, knowledge-transfer resources, and operational support materials
  • Verify that solutions satisfy OLG expectations for security, accessibility, performance, and user experience
  • Take part in Agile ceremonies and ongoing improvement efforts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
  • At least five years of professional experience building modern web applications, with substantial front-end development experience
  • Practical expertise with React or Vue.js, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Java
  • Background integrating modern web applications with RESTful services
  • Experience delivering responsive, accessible, high-performance interfaces for enterprise-scale web products
  • Adobe Experience Manager experience, particularly with component and template development, is preferred
  • At least four years of progressive experience delivering solutions in medium-to-large enterprise IT environments
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management capabilities
  • Ability to work effectively with UX designers, architects, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders
  • Creative troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify practical solutions and emerging use cases
  • Ability to produce high-quality work within demanding, accelerated timelines
  • Comfort working collaboratively with diverse subject-matter experts and stakeholders
