Freelance Web Designer at Mindrift (UK Remote)
Mindrift is seeking a freelance web designer for its Tendem AI project to create conversion-focused landing pages and marketing websites. The role centers on polished, implementation-ready designs and assets prepared for developer or no-code handoff.
Description
- Create high-quality web designs for real-world Tendem project use cases
- Develop conversion-focused one-pagers, pitch-style landing pages, and straightforward marketing sites from copy, outlines, or existing drafts
- Convert brand assets and social visuals into responsive layouts, structured components, and sections ready for developers or no-code platforms
- Organize and securely deliver production-ready files, including Figma frames, exported assets, and detailed specifications
- Maintain visual consistency across interactive web pages, static PDFs, and social content
- Review responsiveness, spacing, clarity, layout quality, and alignment with current web design practices before delivery
- Lead the visual direction of web materials while keeping it consistent with the wider brand ecosystem
Requirements
- At least two years of relevant experience in web design, UI design, digital marketing design, or visual communications is desirable
- A strong portfolio centered on landing pages, marketing websites, and product or startup one-pagers
- Ability to turn rough prompts, AI-generated drafts, or existing brand systems into structured, implementation-ready web designs
- A user-centered and conversion-oriented design approach
- Ability to work independently
- Advanced Figma skills, including scalable responsive layouts, auto-layout components, and comprehensive design systems
- Expertise in organizing high-converting, pitch-style landing pages
- Understanding of digital asset preparation, specification, and handoff for developers or no-code platforms such as Webflow and Framer
- Ability to carry brand aesthetics consistently across web pages, social materials, and pitch decks
- Strong visual judgment for clarity, white space, and contemporary web layouts
- Self-directed working style with the ability to troubleshoot independently
- Upper-intermediate English proficiency (B2) or higher
- CV must include a link to a portfolio featuring web design examples
- Applications without a portfolio link or relevant web design work will not be considered
