Financial Controller in Vilnius, Lithuania (Hybrid)
Omnisend is hiring a Financial Controller to oversee payroll, payments, audits, financial analysis, and finance automation. The role supports accurate financial operations for an ecommerce marketing technology company.
Description
- Oversee payroll administration and related processes
- Manage accounts payable and all outgoing payments
- Assist with the month-end financial close
- Develop financial analyses to address finance requirements
- Track expenses and ensure correct cost-center allocation
- Coordinate sales tax and other finance compliance activities with external providers
- Support annual and interim audits by preparing documentation and reconciliations
- Deliver finance automation and AI initiatives
- Contribute to finance projects and ad hoc assignments from Finance leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
- At least three years of experience in accounting, finance, controlling, or a comparable position
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and financial operations
- Highly accurate, detail-oriented, and accountable in your work
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet deadlines
- Advanced Google Sheets or Excel skills and confidence handling large datasets
- A continuous-improvement mindset with interest in automation and AI applications
- Effective communicator and collaborator who can work with internal teams and external partners
- Fluent English communication skills
