Finance Graduate Trainee – Edinburgh Hybrid

Join NatWest Group’s three-year Finance graduate programme in Edinburgh, with rotational placements across finance teams. Develop analytical, reporting and strategic skills while working towards an ICAS accountancy qualification.

Description

  • Complete four nine-month placements during the three-year Finance graduate programme
  • Learn from experienced finance professionals while developing knowledge of banking and financial services
  • Apply analytical skills and data to help improve customer outcomes
  • Build practical experience in performance reporting, strategy and decision support
  • Develop stakeholder management skills through work across the bank
  • Use constructive challenge and purposeful negotiation to support clear decisions and positive customer outcomes
  • Work towards a professional accountancy qualification with ICAS
  • Support meaningful Finance work across areas such as Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, Finance Partnering and Business Intelligence

Requirements

  • Hold, or be on track to achieve, a degree with at least a 2:1 classification
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with others
  • Show consistent attention to detail
  • Take initiative and accept ownership of tasks
  • Be interested in how businesses make decisions
  • Be willing to study towards a professional accountancy qualification with ICAS
  • Commit to a three-year graduate programme with four nine-month placements, including placements in Edinburgh and Manchester
