Finance Analyst - Melbourne, Australia (Onsite)

Support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial governance for JLL’s commercial real estate accounts in Melbourne. Partner with stakeholders to strengthen account performance, reporting efficiency, and operational outcomes.

Description

  • Partner with the Senior Finance Manager to deliver contractual finance requirements.
  • Review and process journal entries.
  • Produce P&L reports with variance analysis and clear commentary.
  • Build trusted partnerships with internal teams and client stakeholders.
  • Provide financial guidance and account-level support.
  • Contribute to annual budgeting and recurring forecasting cycles.
  • Improve reporting through automation and streamlined processes.
  • Protect data integrity while advancing operational effectiveness.
  • Support data governance, AP/AR/GL activities, financial controls, governance, and ad hoc initiatives.
  • Help deliver service excellence and achieve key performance indicators.

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related business analysis position.
  • Strong analytical capability, including the ability to interpret complex data and turn it into useful insights.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, or a related discipline.
  • CPA, CA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort working through ambiguity and explaining complex financial information clearly.
  • Proactive and professional approach to customer service and stakeholder relationships.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel and Word.
  • Solid understanding of IT systems and their use in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Experience with MS Project or Visio is beneficial.
