Field Marketing Manager, Public Safety Events

Lead event marketing for Sharp Performance’s coaching platform for first responders, from pre-event outreach through post-event follow-up. Build booth engagement, qualified leads, and sales pipeline across the public safety market.

Description

  • Lead Sharp Performance’s event program in the public safety market
  • Coordinate event registrations, booth logistics, shipping, materials, travel, and budgets
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales on email and LinkedIn outreach to schedule meetings before events
  • Represent the company at events and engage officers, command staff, and agency leaders
  • Record each lead and relevant notes
  • Coordinate account executives’ meeting schedules and event materials
  • Enter event leads into HubSpot within the following week
  • Qualify leads with Sales and track their conversion to meetings and opportunities
  • Report event meetings, leads, opportunities, and cost per lead
  • Record lessons learned from each event
  • Report to the SVP of Marketing and collaborate day to day with Sales

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience managing B2B events, conferences, or field marketing programs, including pre- and post-event work
  • Experience marketing or selling to law enforcement, fire, EMS, or related public safety markets is a plus
  • Willingness to learn how public safety agencies are structured and how they make decisions
  • Strong organizational skills to keep multiple activities on schedule
  • Confidence starting conversations, asking questions, and involving sales colleagues when appropriate
  • A pipeline-focused approach that prioritizes meetings and qualified leads over badge scans
  • Working knowledge of HubSpot or a similar CRM, email campaign tools, and event registration platforms
  • Willingness to travel to events, often several times per month during conference season
  • Comfort working hands-on amid ambiguity and frequent changes
