Field and Events Manager, LATAM (Remote Contractor)

Lead Hauler Hero’s trade show program for waste-hauling SaaS customers across the United States and Canada. Own event logistics, booth operations, lead follow-up, and ROI reporting.

Description

  • Identify waste industry events, conferences, and regional association meetings
  • Maintain the annual events calendar
  • Evaluate shows based on audience, ideal-customer fit, cost, and previous results
  • Partner with leadership to select the shows worth attending
  • Register early to secure discounted pricing and favorable booth locations
  • Monitor booth, sponsorship, travel, and shipping budgets
  • Coordinate booth equipment, shipping, and storage with the logistics vendor
  • Arrange travel and manage event deadlines
  • Create pre-event checklists
  • Work with the Multimedia Designer on booth graphics, handouts, and presentations
  • Travel to selected U.S. events
  • Set up and staff booths alongside the team
  • Schedule meetings and collect leads
  • Enter every event lead into HubSpot within 48 hours, apply event tags, and transfer leads to Sales
  • Document post-event performance, including costs, leads, pipeline, and closed deals
  • Learn the product and customer base, review the 2027 event schedule and historical results, and assume responsibility for weekly event research and the logistics vendor relationship
  • Evaluate the 2027 calendar, complete early registrations, and prepare for the first 2027 events
  • Manage the events program end to end, including Q1 execution, lead follow-up, and performance reporting

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in event marketing, trade show management, field marketing, or event production
  • Excellent written English and strong spoken English
  • A valid U.S. visa or the ability to travel to the United States several times a year for events
  • Strong project management abilities
  • Exceptional attention to registration details, shipping deadlines, travel arrangements, and budgets
  • Confidence negotiating with event organizers and vendors
  • An outgoing, professional presence when representing the company at a booth
  • Comfort working with Notion, Google Workspace, HubSpot, and spreadsheets
  • Reliable high-speed internet access
  • Availability during core U.S. business hours
  • Experience with B2B or SaaS trade shows in the United States is a bonus
  • Experience in waste, recycling, logistics, transportation, field services, or public works is a bonus
  • Experience managing booth shipping and freight vendors is a bonus
  • Experience booking sponsorships or speaking sessions, measuring event ROI in a CRM, or both is a bonus
  • Based in LATAM, preferably Argentina or a location in a similar U.S.-aligned time zone
