Facility and Event Support Specialist – Baar Onsite

Support daily facility operations and events at Partners Group’s Baar campus. The role covers building checks, minor repairs, workplace moves, event setup, cleaning, supplies, and infrastructure support.

Description

  • Maintain safe, reliable, and smooth daily building operations
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms, infrastructure, and technical facilities
  • Document deviations and initiate the necessary actions
  • Identify and independently resolve minor technical faults, defects, maintenance tasks, and repair work where possible
  • Complete minor repairs, installations, fixings, and adjustments to building and operational equipment
  • Assess, isolate, and escalate technical issues
  • Coordinate external contractors and ensure professional execution and follow-up checks
  • Support internal relocations, space adjustments, and workplace changes
  • Move and assemble furniture, and set up, modify, and dismantle rooms
  • Prepare, set up, and restore event and meeting spaces
  • Provide furniture and equipment and assist during events
  • Carry out daily cleaning and care tasks and ensure routine, specialist, and event cleaning
  • Manage consumables, cleaning products, event supplies, replacement materials, and other operating resources
  • Organize and structure storage areas and monitor stock levels and availability
  • Perform basic care, inspection, and maintenance work in outdoor areas
  • Take occasional on-call, evening, or weekend shifts and support exceptional operational requirements

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as a facilities maintenance specialist, caretaker, or in a comparable practical field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Professional experience in facility management, caretaking, building operations, or a comparable environment
  • Practical mindset and enthusiasm for taking on tasks independently and solving problems effectively
  • High reliability, initiative, and a strong sense of responsibility
  • A strong eye for cleanliness, order, and a well-maintained appearance
  • Service-oriented and communicative personality with a high quality standard
  • Strong organizational skills and a structured, independent working style
  • Flexibility and willingness to support events occasionally outside regular working hours
  • Good German and English skills
  • Good user-level IT skills
  • Category B driving licence is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, sprinkler, and electrical systems
  • Technical understanding and practical manual skills
  • Sprinkler maintenance training is an advantage
