Data Architect – GCP and DevOps | Hitss Brasil (Hybrid)
Designs GCP infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for Hitss Brasil’s digital solutions. Automates environments, cloud security, and data operations.
Description
- Design and evolve Google Cloud Platform infrastructure with Terraform
- Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines supporting applications, data, and infrastructure
- Automate provisioning, deployments, observability, and environment management
- Help operate containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes
- Implement and monitor DevSecOps controls covering secrets, access, vulnerabilities, and security policies
- Administer authentication and authorization through Authentik or comparable tools
- Support dbt and Prefect data pipelines, including scheduling, orchestration, monitoring, and failure recovery
- Administer GCP services such as IAM, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Run, GKE, and Secret Manager
- Review logs, investigate failures, and assist with environment operations
- Produce technical documentation and help teams use environments and delivery processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline
- Postgraduate qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline, or two valid certifications in the field
- At least six years of professional experience in work related to the relevant technical specialization
- Professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, SRE, or in a comparable position
- Practical experience with GCP
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience building CI/CD workflows with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or a comparable tool
- Experience with Docker and working knowledge of Kubernetes
- Working knowledge of Git and branching strategies
- Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, and least-privilege practices
- Familiarity with dbt and Prefect in data environments
- Knowledge of relational databases and/or BigQuery
- Preferred: experience with Keycloak or similar identity platforms; observability with Grafana, Prometheus, or Cloud Monitoring; Helm, Argo CD, or GitOps; GCP certifications; FinOps and cloud cost optimization; Python or Shell scripting for automation
