Data Analyst I Remote United States
Cambium Learning Group is seeking a remote Data Analyst I to turn complex data into actionable business insights. The role focuses on reporting, data quality, process improvement, and information systems support.
Description
- Combine data from multiple sources and analyze it to deliver actionable findings
- Deploy, configure, and monitor several systems
- Prepare accurate, timely management reports and review supporting data
- Develop creative approaches to complex data analysis requests
- Support additional information systems initiatives as assigned
- Validate data quality to ensure dependable analysis and reporting
- Explain technical findings clearly to internal and external stakeholders
- Attend virtual meetings and video interviews with the camera enabled
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Management, or a related field plus at least 3 years of demonstrated database, SQL query development, and scripting experience through coursework or professional work; alternatively, a master’s degree plus at least 1 year of demonstrated experience
- Strong attention to detail and well-developed data and quantitative skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and devise practical, resourceful solutions for detailed project objectives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including organizing ideas, documenting information, and explaining complex concepts to varied audiences
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Reporting Services, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and other database tools
- Reliable cable or fiber-optic broadband connection with minimum remote-work speeds of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload
- Availability to participate actively in camera-on video interviews and recurring virtual meetings
- Submission of both a cover letter and resume
