Data Analyst at AI2IO — Remote in the United States
Shape AI2IO’s enterprise data warehouse and reporting environment by defining KPIs, validating source data, and supporting Azure DevOps delivery and user acceptance testing.
Description
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document reporting and analytics needs
- Define and document KPI formulas, owners, and source systems to support KPI certification
- Keep the business glossary and KPI dictionary current
- Investigate and profile data from Deltek Vantagepoint, SQL views, and Power BI semantic models
- Validate data warehouse structures and reports against approved business definitions
- Surface and escalate data quality problems, outdated logic, governance gaps, and undocumented assumptions
- Create and manage user stories in Azure DevOps
- Support the BI team’s two-week sprint cycle and intake process
- Organize and coordinate user acceptance testing with business stakeholders
- Prepare and maintain release notes and change-management documentation
- Deliver assigned work and deliverables on schedule and within budget
- Handle other related responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, information systems, statistics, finance, or a related field
- At least four years of experience as a data analyst, business analyst, or reporting analyst
- Strong analytical ability with experience turning ambiguous business questions into clear, testable requirements
- Working knowledge of SQL for independently querying and investigating data across multiple systems
- Familiarity with Power BI reports and semantic models
- Experience using Azure DevOps or a comparable backlog and work-tracking platform
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with business and technical stakeholders
- Exceptional attention to detail and comfort with thorough validation work
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision while managing multiple requests
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements
- Willingness to travel up to 5%, potentially to any of the 50 United States
- Experience with an enterprise data warehouse, BI platform, or reporting modernization initiative is strongly preferred
- DAX reading or writing experience is a plus
- Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or a similar professional-services ERP system is a plus
