Contract Accounting Manager in Antwerp (Hybrid)

Description

  • Lead and coordinate month-end close activities for designated European entities
  • Complete and review monthly balance-sheet reconciliations
  • Identify accounting variances, resolve discrepancies, and deliver timely close outputs
  • Apply accounting policies and meet required procedures and reporting deadlines
  • Manage monthly ARR reporting and verify customer, contract, and billing data
  • Oversee accounts receivable activities, from invoicing and receivables accounting to payment allocation
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and other teams to resolve billing and collections matters
  • Handle daily treasury activities and track the organization’s cash position
  • Organize payment runs with internal stakeholders and banking partners
  • Serve as the primary liaison for local accounting partners in Belgium, Hungary, and France
  • Manage local statutory accounting obligations and associated deadlines
  • Coordinate with Payroll to support accurate salary payments and related financial recording
  • Prepare, review, and submit VAT filings
  • Prepare and calculate Belgian corporate income tax returns
  • Lead statutory audit coordination in Belgium, Hungary, and France from planning through completion
  • Contribute to the global consolidated audit alongside the broader Finance and Accounting team

Requirements

  • Background enabling ownership and coordination of monthly close for relevant European entities
  • Capability to prepare and review monthly balance-sheet reconciliations
  • Experience managing ARR reporting and validating customer, contract, and billing information
  • Working knowledge of accounts receivable, including invoicing, receivables accounting, and payment allocation
  • Experience managing cash activities and monitoring cash positions
  • Ability to arrange accurate, approved, and timely payment runs
  • Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders and banking partners
  • Understanding of statutory accounting obligations in Belgium, Hungary, and France
  • Knowledge of payroll processes and salary-payment accounting
  • Ability to prepare, review, and submit VAT declarations
  • Ability to prepare and calculate Belgian corporate income tax returns and associated computations
  • Experience coordinating statutory audits
  • Ability to collaborate with local accounting partners and external accountants
