Compliance Testing Manager - San Francisco Hybrid

Lead consumer compliance reviews through testing, analytics, reporting, and remediation while strengthening risk controls in a digital financial services environment.

Description

  • Design, direct, and complete compliance testing reviews independently
  • Evaluate control design and performance across consumer compliance risks
  • Detect control weaknesses and propose practical improvements
  • Help build and apply data analytics and monitoring tools
  • Produce testing reports and workpapers that clearly present findings, issues, recommendations, and results
  • Record, follow up on, and oversee compliance issues through resolution
  • Work with business partners and Compliance Advisory teams
  • Present material risks, trends, and testing results to stakeholders and senior leaders
  • Evaluate and document business processes, risks, and controls
  • Coordinate testing schedules and assess work completed by other testers
  • Support ECO initiatives, internal and external audits, regulatory examinations, and strategic projects

Requirements

  • At least four years in banking or financial services, including hands-on compliance testing, internal audit, or related compliance experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of consumer protection laws, related compliance risks, and applicable controls
  • Experience testing requirements under ECOA, UDAAP, TILA, TISA, FCRA, EFTA, EFAA, and SCRA
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities
  • Proficiency using SQL for data queries and analysis
  • Experience with Tableau or another data visualization platform is advantageous
  • Capacity to balance competing priorities and adjust to evolving regulatory and business requirements
  • Sound judgment when handling regulatory accuracy, confidentiality, sensitive data, and independent human validation while using AI tools
  • Availability to work local hours across Pacific, Mountain, and Eastern time zones
