Community Relations Coordinator, Georgia (Onsite)

Drive referral growth and admissions across an assigned Georgia territory for Pinnacle Treatment Centers’ opioid treatment programs. Build professional partnerships, lead community outreach, manage referral accounts, and monitor territory performance.

Description

  • Manage growth and market development across an assigned Georgia state or multi-county territory within the OTP/MAT service line
  • Develop professional referrals, manage accounts, support admissions growth, strengthen brand visibility, and gather market intelligence
  • Establish and maintain referral partnerships with courts, correctional facilities, hospitals, emergency departments, primary care providers, behavioral health organizations, social services, and community groups
  • Lead consumer and community outreach that increases awareness and helps reduce stigma
  • Work closely with program directors, medical directors, and clinical teams across treatment centers
  • Plan territory activity, prioritize accounts, schedule calls, and retain referral sources
  • Document field activity promptly, thoroughly, and accurately in the CRM
  • Increase qualified referrals and improve referral-to-admission conversion
  • Follow EKRA, the Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and applicable state requirements
  • Safeguard patient confidentiality and accurately represent services, outcomes, and credentials
  • Escalate suspected compliance issues, conflicts of interest, and improper referral arrangements
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory each day, including occasional overnight and multi-day trips for conferences, training, and coalition meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Three to five years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or community outreach
  • Record of managing a defined territory or account portfolio with measurable growth or retention outcomes
  • Experience working with professional referral networks is strongly preferred
  • Valid state driver’s license and acceptable driving history
  • Reliable personal vehicle
  • Working knowledge of OTP and MAT clinical and regulatory environments, including methadone and buprenorphine treatment models
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building abilities
  • Disciplined approach to territory planning and account prioritization
  • Ability to independently manage a large, geographically dispersed account portfolio
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or comparable systems, Microsoft Office, and standard business communication tools
  • Peer recovery specialist certification, CADC credential, or comparable substance use disorder certification is helpful but not required
  • At least three years of business development, sales, account management, or community outreach experience required
  • Driver’s license required
