Claims Adjuster Trainee - Remote in the United States

Description

  • Investigate automobile accidents and verify the circumstances surrounding each loss
  • Assess policy coverage, liability, and property damage
  • Adjust and negotiate claims within assigned authority
  • Conduct foundational reviews of coverage, liability, and damages
  • Recognize customer needs and respond with appropriate service techniques
  • Use company systems and technology at a foundational level
  • Work with partners to evaluate subrogation or fraud indicators and determine next steps
  • Build working knowledge of company policies, the insurance sector, and internal relationships
  • Identify vehicle body components and assess possible property damage
  • Perform no supervisory responsibilities

Requirements

  • Reside in the Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zone
  • Be available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time
  • Have authorization to work in the United States
  • The employer does not sponsor work visas
  • End all existing insurance appointments before onboarding if you hold an active insurance license
  • Maintain no outside insurance appointments during employment
  • Surrender a resident producer license when directed by the licensing team
  • Have reliable internet service with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
  • Maintain a dedicated, private, distraction-free workspace for remote work
  • Provide a suitable desk and seating arrangement for the home workspace
