Description

  • Create, implement, and validate software features
  • Develop web applications, cloud microservices, and distributed systems
  • Build responsive user interfaces
  • Design RESTful APIs and scalable backend services
  • Work with agile engineering teams on software delivery
  • Apply Git, Linux, containerization, and automated testing tools
  • Produce clear, maintainable code
  • Help advance software platforms and digital solutions that connect and protect people and organizations

Requirements

  • Be enrolled in an undergraduate associate's or bachelor's program in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, or a related discipline
  • Plan to remain enrolled after completing the co-op term
  • Demonstrate foundational programming and problem-solving ability in at least one modern language, such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Go, Java, or C/C++
  • Have experience writing, testing, and debugging software
  • Understand core data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles
  • Be familiar with HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, and state management
  • Be familiar with Linux environments and Git
  • Preferred: coursework or experience with React, Vue, Angular, and modern TypeScript
  • Preferred: experience with backend microservices or API tools using Go, Python with FastAPI or Flask, or Node.js
  • Preferred: exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or CI/CD pipelines
  • Preferred: familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL, OLAP, or Redis
