Description
- Join Jerry’s central Business Operations & Analytics team and partner with growth, product, AI and automation, or strategic partnerships.
- Lead analytics for an assigned business unit from start to finish.
- Frame business problems, identify the decisions analysis should support, and question weak assumptions.
- Set metrics and create reports.
- Conduct analyses and design experiments.
- Find data insights that improve key business metrics.
- Share recommendations with product, growth, finance, and operations partners.
- Explain what is happening and why, then recommend next steps.
- Move initiatives and decisions through to execution.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience at a consulting firm, investment bank, or high-growth technology company.
- Strong analytical ability.
- Can independently extract, organize, and interpret data.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of ambiguous problems and deliver results.
- Clear, persuasive communication.
- Able to influence decisions at the leadership level.
- Comfortable using SQL or Python.
- Authorized to work legally in the United States or Canada.
- Currently lives in an eligible location: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Ontario, Canada.
- Tools include SQL (ClickHouse), Metabase, Python, JupyterHub, and GitHub.
