Charge Description Master Analyst II

Manage chargemaster data, audits, coding updates, and charge-capture analysis for Ensemble Health Partners. Support revenue improvement, regulatory compliance, and performance initiatives across healthcare clients.

Description

  • Validate chargemaster data and coordinate with external vendors
  • Maintain the chargemaster monthly and direct code-update initiatives
  • Conduct regular chargemaster audits and reviews
  • Analyze charge-capture data and monitor revenue performance
  • Evaluate charging, documentation, and billing practices for regulatory compliance
  • Compile, analyze, and present data-driven findings for client assessments and performance objectives
  • Complete recurring audits and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on key decisions
  • Train, advise, and support CDM analysts and clinical and non-clinical departments
  • Communicate updates to coding, charging, and billing procedures
  • Lead cross-functional teams tracking hospital net revenue and chargemaster accuracy
  • Direct revenue-enhancement initiatives, including Denial Management and APC Billing
  • Complete quarterly and annual charging and coding updates
  • Review chargemaster revisions, educate departments, and validate system builds
  • Report project progress to management and complete assigned work-queue activities
  • Handle additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent post-secondary education and experience may be considered
  • At least six years of healthcare industry experience
  • Charge Master, EAP, and coding experience strongly preferred
  • Background in physician and hospital operations, compliance, and provider relations
  • Ability to work independently and facilitate varied meetings
  • Curiosity and openness to innovation, including AI
  • Ability and willingness to travel to and work from client, temporary, or corporate offices as business needs require
  • Certification in patient access or patient accounting
  • Coding certification strongly preferred
  • CRCR certification required within nine months of hire
  • Must live and be authorized to work in the United States
