Business Office Manager

Manage billing, refunds, records and day-to-day business office operations at a senior care center in Missouri.

Description

  • Oversee business office operations in line with applicable federal, state and local requirements
  • Coordinate with the Central Billing Office on private insurance, Medicare, Medicaid and managed care payments
  • Process accounts receivable refunds
  • Keep logs and reports for resident funds, census records and case accounts
  • Complete other duties assigned by the administrator

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree in business or accounting preferred
  • Experience in business office operations in a long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living or memory care setting
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, physicians, consultants, providers, government agencies and community members
  • Current knowledge of local, state and federal guidelines and regulations
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Compassion and commitment to working with seniors
  • Flexible, upbeat and energetic personality
