Business Intelligence Analyst – New York Remote

Join Fetch Pet Insurance as a Business Intelligence Analyst focused on reporting, data modeling, and AI enablement. Support regulatory submissions and channel-performance analysis across the business.

Description

  • Support multiple business channels, regulatory reporting, and company-wide AI enablement
  • Develop and maintain SSAS Tabular models, dashboards, and analyses for partner and sales performance
  • Manage reporting for shelter, breeder, and sales programs, including channel-performance dashboards and analyses
  • Develop and maintain compensation models for shelter, breeder, and sales programs
  • Provide continuing analytical support to shelter, breeder, and sales teams
  • Assist with Bordereaux, MCAS, and NAPHIA reporting, including recurring submissions, related analysis, and ad hoc requests
  • Contribute to the development of enterprise data models
  • Find ways to simplify the semantic codebase and recurring reporting processes
  • Strengthen data quality and availability
  • Handle ad hoc analytics requests from cross-functional stakeholders
  • Lead BI-driven AI initiatives and contribute to AI adoption across the company
  • Carry out data-quality, performance-tuning, governance, and automation activities
  • Work with the AVP of Business Intelligence, data engineering, compliance, and business stakeholders to deliver dependable data and scalable solutions

Requirements

  • One to three years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or data engineering
  • Proficiency in SQL, including creating procedures and views, scheduling jobs, and querying and manipulating data
  • Experience creating dashboards or reports with a BI platform such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Insurance industry experience or experience working with enterprise data preferred
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, or Gemini preferred
  • Experience developing and maintaining SSAS Tabular models preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical discipline, or equivalent experience, preferred
