GEICO is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to turn complex data into actionable business insights. The role leads analytics initiatives that support customer experience, operational performance, and strategic decision-making.

Description

  • Work closely with business leaders to convert complex data into actionable insights
  • Drive analytical projects centered on business results, customer experience, and performance improvement
  • Own complex ad hoc and planned analytics initiatives from defining the problem through delivering insights
  • Uncover opportunities for analysis and recommend data-informed actions
  • Use advanced analytical and statistical methods to assess trends, performance factors, customer behavior, and business results
  • Distill complex analyses into clear insights and recommendations for senior leadership
  • Serve as a strategic connection between analytics, technology, and business teams
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to establish requirements and align goals
  • Represent analytics in cross-functional meetings and presentations for management and senior leaders
  • Organize and prioritize multiple analytics projects while maintaining accuracy, quality, and timely delivery
  • Assign work to junior analysts and offer guidance
  • Assist team leads and managers with analytics planning, prioritization, and execution
  • Use advanced query, database, and analytics tools to extract, examine, and validate large, complex datasets
  • Maintain data integrity and consistency
  • Build knowledge of enterprise data environments, transactional systems, and relationships across data sources
  • Present analytical conclusions and recommendations to diverse audiences
  • Relate analytical insights to business strategy, risk, and opportunity

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in analytics, business, economics, statistics, or a related discipline
  • Substantial experience conducting business or data analysis in complex, fast-moving environments
  • Ability to independently lead analytical projects while balancing competing priorities
  • Advanced analytical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities
  • Clear, effective communication of insights to stakeholders at every level
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Experience using regression, segmentation, trend analysis, and other statistical methods
  • Ability to mentor junior analysts or provide informal team leadership
  • Business acumen to connect data with strategy and operational results
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities
