Business Development Sales Manager – Data Ventures

Lead revenue growth for Walmart’s Scintilla customer intelligence and analytics platform. Build supplier partnerships, negotiate strategic deals, and support omnichannel category growth.

Description

  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities that support company revenue objectives
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to expand the business and create shareholder value
  • Lead negotiations that secure favorable commercial terms and strategic partnerships
  • Evaluate market trends and emerging technologies to shape sales strategy
  • Coordinate with internal teams to connect business development plans with organizational priorities and market needs
  • Turn complex data into actionable insights that improve Walmart’s customer and supplier experience, strengthen supplier performance, and advance omnichannel category growth
  • Balance shared value propositions, risks, and benefits across Walmart and its supplier partners
  • Bring cross-functional teams together to achieve measurable business results

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information technology, business, finance, marketing and sales, healthcare, or a related field plus two years of experience in business development, market development, healthcare, or a related area; or four years of relevant experience
  • Track record of increasing revenue through new business development programs
  • Strong negotiation ability
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Sound financial judgment and knowledge of finance principles
  • Advanced stakeholder management skills
  • Understanding of emerging technologies that influence business development and sales
  • Ability to generate shareholder value through strategic planning and execution
