Business Development Manager, Production Test Equipment – Remote

Lead the development and standardization of production test equipment for Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse. Coordinate suppliers, customers, validation, technical handover, training, and international assignments.

Description

  • Manage test-equipment development projects against technical, cost, schedule, and quality targets
  • Standardize test-equipment architectures and designs across Liebherr, repair stations, and selected suppliers
  • Set technical requirements, budgets, schedules, and quality objectives with customers
  • Develop specifications and service-delivery strategies for supplier consultations
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on technical and commercial proposals
  • Direct test-equipment development projects and report progress to customers
  • Define EHS, metrology, and maintenance requirements
  • Prepare validation and acceptance procedures
  • Oversee supplier-site preliminary acceptance and internal final acceptance testing
  • Complete technical handover and deliver initial customer training
  • Confirm first-level maintenance implementation and periodic inspection schedules
  • Identify applicable technologies and reusable design building blocks
  • Share project lessons learned with fellow business development managers
  • Plan and conduct international assignments with repair stations and customers

Requirements

  • Degree in general engineering, instrumentation, physical measurements, or mechatronics
  • Experience or internship exposure in test equipment
  • Practical knowledge of physical measurements and test benches
  • Ability to develop specifications and define technical requirements
  • Capability to coordinate and lead technical teams
  • Knowledge of fluid mechanics, pneumatics, or hydraulics is advantageous
  • Reliable, responsive, and well organized
  • Strong commitment to customer service
  • Able to collaborate effectively while working independently
  • Professional proficiency in English
  • Availability for international travel
