Business Analyst, Financial Planning Software

Implement Prophix One financial planning software for finance clients, from solution setup through go-live. Configure the platform, train users, and support consulting projects.

Description

  • Support remote and on-site Prophix implementations, including configuration, setup, and go-live assistance
  • Train client teams on the product
  • Help clients turn business questions into practical solutions with guidance from senior staff
  • Manage tasks and timelines across several short-term consulting engagements
  • Work directly with CFOs, finance VPs, and other senior finance stakeholders
  • Identify and escalate customer issues during projects
  • Advise internal colleagues and external customers on the product
  • Contribute to internal projects under the direction of Professional Services
  • Use feedback from senior consultants to improve project delivery

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in accounting, finance, business, economics, or a related discipline, and 0–2 years of relevant experience; co-op placements and internships count
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles under IFRS, ASPE, or US GAAP
  • Ability to interpret the three core financial statements and explain how they relate
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency, including lookups, SUMIFS, and pivot tables
  • Comfort working with and cleaning large datasets
  • Ability to handle several deliverables at once
  • Strong written and spoken communication with senior finance stakeholders
  • Sound judgment when using AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude for research, drafting, or data review
  • Able to work in a hybrid arrangement from the Etobicoke office and travel to client locations as needed
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Preferred: familiarity with CPM or FP&A platforms, ERP systems, budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, SQL, Power Query, Power BI, client-facing or training work, or progress toward CPA or CFA
