Business Analyst, Defense Logistics Digital Transformation (Hybrid)

Support Credence’s defense logistics digital transformation program as a Business Analyst. Gather and model requirements, validate software solutions, and collaborate with Scrum and cross-functional teams.

Description

  • Support the Defense Logistics Agency’s Defense Automated Addressing Systems digital transformation program
  • Contribute to Scrum team activities
  • Gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements
  • Assess business processes, anticipate future needs, identify improvement opportunities, and implement documented solutions
  • Analyze business and system requirements
  • Elicit requirements from senior Government personnel and document processes using BPMN 2.0 and related materials
  • Partner with development and stakeholder teams to convert requirements into viable solutions
  • Facilitate Joint Application Design sessions to define workflows and user interface capabilities
  • Coordinate with UI/UX designers to refine and transition requirements into design
  • Partner with automated testing teams to validate functional requirements and conduct regression testing across development sprints
  • Work with cross-functional teams to meet milestones and deliver software solutions
  • Lead meetings and presentations to communicate ideas and findings
  • Collaborate with engineers, developers, analysts, and other team members on new and enhanced development
  • Lead recurring business process reviews and create optimization strategies
  • Monitor process and IT developments that support system automation and modernization
  • Record findings and communicate results
  • Compare approaches with evolving industry standards and practices
  • Transition between projects and assigned tasks as needed
  • Handle related responsibilities and special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance are required
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least five years of relevant experience in agile business requirements or a related field
  • Ability to elicit requirements, conduct analysis, define specifications, and verify outcomes in a Scrum environment
  • Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) 2.0 experience is required; certification is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to document user stories and establish acceptance criteria
  • Ability to investigate, communicate about, and resolve application user issues
  • Direct experience with software development life cycle processes in a team setting; Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience is preferred
  • Experience with knowledge management, data management, and process modeling tools, systems, and procedures
  • Experience with the Defense Automated Addressing System, Defense Logistics Agency, or Department of War is helpful
