Business Analyst – Custody Applications (Lisbon Hybrid)

Support custody applications for a major European Union bank by analyzing business needs, formalizing requirements, coordinating testing, and tracking project releases.

Description

  • Support preliminary business studies.
  • Critically assess and clarify business needs, challenging requests where appropriate.
  • Document functional requirements and secure business validation.
  • Provide functional analysis and subject-matter expertise.
  • Coordinate functional testing and help business users conduct acceptance tests.
  • Track project and release activities through each delivery phase.
  • Follow workflows, schedules, and deadlines while maintaining clear project reporting.

Requirements

  • Professional experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Management, Tax, or Law.
  • At least four years of financial-industry experience, particularly in custody operations.
  • Experience with waterfall delivery methods and JIRA.
  • Knowledge of relational databases, preferably SQL.
  • General IT knowledge and custody-domain experience are advantageous.
  • Experience formalizing requirements and managing change-request cycles.
  • Knowledge of Business Analyst best practices.
  • Fluency in English.
