Bordereaux Analyst – London Hybrid

Process premium and claims bordereaux for G MASS Consulting’s London Market insurance clients. Support delegated authority operations through reconciliations, reporting, data quality checks and coverholder oversight.

Description

  • Manage the receipt, validation and processing of premium and claims bordereaux from coverholders, MGAs and TPAs
  • Monitor monthly bordereaux submissions against reporting schedules and follow up on late or incomplete returns
  • Assess bordereaux data against binding authority terms, including limits, territories, business classes and binder periods
  • Review submissions against Lloyd’s Coverholder Reporting Standards and internal data requirements
  • Communicate data quality issues to coverholders for resolution
  • Upload validated bordereaux into policy administration and bordereaux management systems
  • Reconcile premium bordereaux with cash received and written premium, investigating and resolving variances
  • Escalate possible contract breaches and unusual trends to delegated authority, underwriting and compliance teams
  • Prepare internal reports covering submission timeliness, data quality and unresolved issues
  • Assist with coverholder audits, renewals and broader delegated authority oversight activities as needed

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of insurance experience, ideally within the Lloyd’s or London Market, such as a managing agent, syndicate, MGA, broker or TPA
  • Experience with bordereaux, delegated authority or binding authority processing is strongly preferred
  • Advanced Excel capability, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables and reconciliation logic, with confidence handling large datasets
  • Able to learn policy administration and bordereaux management systems quickly
  • Methodical, detail-focused and self-directed, with the accuracy needed to meet fixed monthly and quarterly deadlines
  • Professional communicator who can manage queries from coverholders, brokers and underwriters
  • Degree or equivalent professional experience
