BI Developer at PayU (Hybrid, Poland)
Build data models, Tableau reporting, and ETL workflows for PayU’s European payments operations. Deliver reliable insights for financial, operational, and regulatory decisions across Central and Eastern Europe.
Description
- Develop standardized data models for varied business requirements
- Build interactive Tableau dashboards and visualizations that inform decisions
- Improve and maintain data pipelines and processes for performance and efficiency
- Monitor daily ETL workflows to protect data quality and reliability
- Partner with business stakeholders to turn requirements into effective BI solutions
- Assist with project management for data initiatives and timely insight delivery
- Apply AI-assisted tools to modelling, code review, and documentation while supporting responsible adoption
- Translate complex data into dependable insights for financial, operational, and regulatory use across the CEE region
- Maintain the data, metrics, and definitions used by internal teams and external partners
Requirements
- At least three years of experience in data modelling, analysis, or engineering
- Advanced SQL capability, including complex queries, stored procedures, and functions
- Working knowledge of Git and GitHub for version control
- Proven ability to develop Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations
- C1-level fluency in Polish and English
- Experience with project management methods and practices
- Knowledge of dbt for data transformation and modelling is an advantage
- Python skills for data processing and automation are an advantage
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to gather requirements from business stakeholders and deliver suitable solutions
- Clear communication and effective collaboration skills
- Comfort working independently and within a changing, team-oriented environment
