Audit Manager, Real Estate and Affordable Housing

Lead audit engagements and teams for Aprio, a Top 20 CPA and advisory firm. Support clients in the real estate and affordable housing sectors while developing staff and client relationships.

Description

  • Lead multiple audit projects and client engagements
  • Communicate clearly with partners, staff, and clients about expectations, engagement progress, and related matters
  • Take an active role in marketing firm services and generating new business
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Manage, coach, and develop staff accountants
  • Travel approximately 15–20% of the time

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a four-year program
  • Active CPA license
  • At least five years of public accounting experience
  • Specialized experience in affordable housing
  • Four-year bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • At least four years of experience at a public accounting firm
  • Strong analytical ability when reviewing financial statements and related financial information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with clients and colleagues
  • Demonstrated initiative, leadership, decision-making ability, and independence
  • Proven ability to manage, coach, and develop staff accountants
