Associate Illustrator, Product Design (Remote, Philippines)

Create playful, production-ready illustrations for Hadley Designs’ screen-free educational products. Develop original artwork, complete product collections, and prepare files for families worldwide.

Description

  • Develop new artwork and complete product collections in Hadley Designs’ established visual style
  • Illustrate original characters, motifs, patterns, and scenes with a cute, child-friendly aesthetic
  • Transform the Chief Creative Officer’s concepts into polished, production-ready designs
  • Manage designs from initial handoff through final development
  • Handle execution details, including variations, complete sets, and file preparation
  • Prepare print and production files according to specifications
  • Create mockups and product previews for product listings
  • Keep product collections visually consistent and aligned with the brand
  • Maintain and update the living style reference
  • Provide occasional secondary advertising-operations support, including A+ content, storefront updates, CMYK ad images, and revisions

Requirements

  • A portfolio of original illustrations demonstrating a cute, playful, child-focused, or product-design style
  • Working proficiency with Adobe Illustrator for creating native illustrations
  • Ability to reproduce and build upon an established visual style
  • Skill in converting written and verbal creative direction into finished artwork
  • Dependable deadline management while handling multiple pieces simultaneously
  • Experience preparing print or production files to specification is preferred
  • Familiarity with children’s products, educational materials, or consumer goods is preferred
  • Comfort using Notion, ClickUp, and organized file-management practices is preferred
  • Entry-level opportunity requiring genuine illustration ability and enthusiasm for developing as a creative maker
