Associate Contract Administrator in Sunnyvale

Support proposals, negotiations, and contract administration for Northrop Grumman aerospace and defense programs. Manage customer obligations, contract risks, deliverables, and invoicing.

Description

  • Assist with proposal development, contract negotiations, contract administration, and customer contract activities
  • Administer standard and nonstandard contracts
  • Serve as the primary customer contact for contractual matters
  • Track contracts and related programs to ensure obligations are communicated and understood
  • Resolve routine and complex contractual issues under general supervision
  • Ensure contract requirements are met and administer contract changes
  • Maintain historical contract records and information
  • Review contract terms and conditions, assess financial and contractual risks, and recommend mitigation approaches
  • Support management initiatives related to cash management and sales objectives
  • Draft and coordinate written communications for internal and external customers
  • Enter and maintain contract information in contract management and enterprise accounting systems
  • Coordinate the timely submission of contractual deliverables, including CDRLs and SDRLs, and invoices

Requirements

  • Currently completing or have completed a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution for the Associate Contract Administrator role
  • Majoring or have majored in business, such as accounting, finance, business administration, management, or economics, or in a related field such as legal studies, mathematics, statistics, risk management, or global supply chain for the Associate Contract Administrator role
  • Currently completing or have completed a master's degree from an accredited institution for the Contract Administrator role
  • Majoring or have majored in business or a related business field for the Contract Administrator role
  • Eligible to obtain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required
  • ERP experience preferred
  • Active Secret clearance preferred
  • Experience working with U.S. government customers preferred
  • Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and/or commercial contract clauses preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel is a plus
