Airline FTM Engineer – Airframe Systems, CAE USA, Madrid Onsite

Support aircraft airworthiness, technical records, and maintenance programs as an Airline Fleet Technical Management Engineer. This full-time, onsite Madrid role with CAE USA coordinates operators, manufacturers, regulators, and service providers.

Description

  • Provide technical support for Airline Fleet Technical Management services while maintaining airworthiness and regulatory compliance
  • Review AD, SB, VSB, and other OEM service documentation, then advise on, schedule, and track required actions
  • Manage project schedules in line with operational and safety requirements
  • Maintain aircraft records and review maintenance histories for accuracy and compliance
  • Serve as the main liaison among operators, OEMs, regulatory authorities, and service providers
  • Support aircraft data imports into associated Maintenance Information Systems
  • Deliver multiple projects concurrently under the direction of the Fleet Technical Management Leader
  • Apply aviation expertise and industry relationships to support team performance

Requirements

  • At least four years of hands-on technical aviation experience in an airline CAMO, independent CAMO, manufacturer technical services, or MRO environment
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft-system ATA chapters
  • Working expertise with Airbus and Boeing aircraft fleets
  • Familiarity with applicable EASA and FAA regulatory requirements
  • Thorough understanding of aircraft records, maintenance documentation, and maintenance philosophies, including aircraft and landing-gear heavy checks and MSG-3
  • Ability to make complex processes accessible, write procedures, and perform effectively under pressure
  • Practical experience using Maintenance Information Systems such as AMOS or Trax
  • Hands-on experience carrying out CAMO activities
  • Self-directed and efficient, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with sound decision-making in a fast-paced setting
  • Willingness to travel when required
