AI Security Engineer – Azure and GCP | Amsterdam Hybrid
Secure enterprise and scientific AI platforms across Azure and GCP. Build Terraform, Kubernetes, IAM, CI/CD security, and continuous compliance controls.
Description
- Translate AI security needs into platform configurations across Azure and GCP
- Create and maintain Terraform modules for secure AI infrastructure
- Add GitOps and CI/CD security gates with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
- Configure and harden Kubernetes environments on AKS and GKE
- Design VNet/VPC segmentation and private endpoint architectures
- Apply IAM, RBAC/ABAC, least-privilege access, and workload identity controls
- Develop policy-as-code frameworks and continuous compliance controls
- Create secure API integration layers for AI platforms
- Implement monitoring, anomaly detection, and security observability
- Address security and governance requirements under ISO 27001, GDPR, and the EU AI Act
- Protect enterprise and scientific AI platforms across Azure and GCP
- Work closely with AI Engineers and Security specialists
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development and/or platform engineering experience
- Hands-on cloud platform engineering experience, ideally in AI/ML environments
- Strong practical experience with both Azure and GCP
- Kubernetes experience using AKS and/or GKE
- Expert-level Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code expertise
- Experience implementing GitOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of IAM, RBAC/ABAC, and workload identity
- Experience with cloud networking, VNet/VPC segmentation, and private endpoints
- Experience developing policy-as-code and continuous compliance controls
- A strong security-first approach to engineering
- Experience securing AI/ML or LLM platforms
- Experience with LLM guardrails, prompt injection prevention, or content filtering
- Experience with MCP gateways or comparable tool-level access controls
- Experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, or Grafana
- Knowledge of ISO 27001, the EU AI Act, and GDPR
- Experience with GPU workloads or GPU-enabled Kubernetes environments
