AI Automation Engineer (Remote in Argentina)

Develop AI-driven automations and agentic workflows for Airtm’s cross-border payments platform. Help scale operations through reliable integrations, responsible controls, monitoring, and audit-ready processes.

Description

  • Create and maintain AI-powered automations and agentic workflows for teams across the business
  • Work with stakeholders to map processes, uncover automation opportunities, and turn operational needs into workable technical solutions
  • Guide automation initiatives from initial scope and design through testing, launch, monitoring, and ongoing refinement
  • Connect AI tools and agents with company systems, data sources, APIs, and operational workflows
  • Build human oversight, access controls, monitoring, logging, and audit trails into automation solutions
  • Diagnose automation issues and enhance reliability, efficiency, and scalability
  • Keep technical specifications and process documentation accurate and current
  • Coordinate with Compliance, Product, Technology, Operations, and other partners to satisfy business, security, and regulatory needs
  • Track developments in AI agents, automation frameworks, and related technologies, assessing their potential use at Airtm

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience creating or deploying AI-powered automations, AI agents, or agentic workflows
  • Experience using automation platforms, APIs, integrations, or workflow orchestration tools
  • Experience with Claude, OpenClaw, or comparable AI and agent-development tools
  • Strong analytical ability to convert business processes into practical technical implementations
  • Ability to work autonomously while partnering effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Knowledge of responsible AI practices, including human oversight, access management, monitoring, and documentation
  • Strong planning and communication skills, including the ability to coordinate work across teams and competing priorities
  • Professional fluency in English
  • Background in fintech, financial services, or another regulated sector is valued
  • Familiarity with AML, KYC, fraud prevention, compliance, or related financial-services processes is a plus
  • Experience with SQL, data tools, APIs, or Google Workspace is a plus
  • Experience delivering AI or automation solutions in regulated or control-oriented environments is a plus
  • Familiarity with AI governance, auditability, monitoring, or model and automation controls is a plus
