Description
- Review online orders and payments flagged as potentially fraudulent
- Handle customers’ accounting requests and questions
- Issue credit notes and refunds for cancellations, disputes and product exchanges
- Track incoming payments across multiple payment methods
- Help reconcile expected cash flows with deposits in bank accounts
- Analyze and reconcile customer accounts and payment-related suspense accounts
- Coordinate with customers and the Customer Service and Logistics teams
- Use the company’s internally developed back-office system
- Share responsibility for accounts receivable operations across 16 European countries
- Report to the Accounts Receivable Accounting Supervisor in the Finance Department
Requirements
- A two-year post-secondary qualification in accounting or equivalent
- At least two years of initial experience in the field
- Careful, accurate handling of a high volume of transactions
- Versatility and adaptability
- Strong interpersonal skills, with patience, diplomacy and attentiveness
- Ability to coordinate a two-person team and maintain efficient operations
- Enthusiasm and energy
- Reliability
- Proficiency in Excel
- Confidence working with numbers
- Strong interest in e-commerce and home furnishings
