Description

  • Prepare and issue sponsor and client invoices covering services, pass-through reimbursements, and grants
  • Maintain and reconcile billing, accounts receivable, and related financial reports
  • Reconcile unbilled services, reimbursable expenses, deferred revenue, and advance expenses
  • Verify that pass-through expenses meet internal policies and client requirements
  • Process vendor invoices and credit notes, including coding, fixed assets, prepayments, VAT, and other taxes
  • Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies
  • Address vendor inquiries and escalate issues when necessary
  • Verify that accounts payable documentation meets internal policies and client requirements
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts payable ageing, unposted or unapproved transactions, and related reports
  • Identify process gaps and support timely resolution with the supervisor
  • Support annual external corporate audits and statutory corporate tax filings
  • Complete other assigned duties

Requirements

  • A degree in a numerate field is preferred; alternatively, a degree or equivalent qualification with at least one year of finance or accounting experience
  • Advanced proficiency with financial software and database applications
  • Relevant experience with ERP systems is preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Excel capability
  • Proficiency with the broader Microsoft Office suite
  • Professional proficiency in English
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to perform accurately under pressure and within tight timelines
  • Self-directed approach with the ability to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of management
