Description

  • Handle daily accounting activities within Embat’s fast-growing fintech environment
  • Help automate supplier invoice workflows
  • Complete daily bank reconciliations in Embat
  • Contribute to month-end close and maintain accurate accounting records
  • Oversee accounts payable activities
  • Assist with recurring tax filings
  • Help compile documentation for the annual audit
  • Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them proactively
  • Work with the Financial Controller and cross-functional teams to maintain reliable financial data
  • Find ways to refine and streamline accounting processes
  • Become self-sufficient in accounting operations and reconciliations within three months
  • Take independent ownership of core operational accounting processes within six months
  • Help expand Embat’s accounting infrastructure and lead process automation and improvement initiatives within twelve months

Requirements

  • Bring 2–5 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or a comparable role
  • Hold a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Understand the complete accounting cycle
  • Have practical experience performing bank reconciliations
  • Have managed accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Have used ERP or accounting platforms; Business Central experience is advantageous
  • Demonstrate advanced Excel proficiency
  • Work effectively with incomplete information in rapidly changing settings
  • Approach work with a focus on process improvement
  • Remain effective under pressure and against tight deadlines
  • Bring strong organizational and prioritization abilities
  • Show initiative and a clear sense of ownership
  • Communicate clearly and directly
  • Adapt quickly in a high-growth environment
  • Have full professional proficiency in Spanish
  • Have a high level of English
