Description

  • Help maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial statements throughout the reporting close.
  • Partner with business units and functional teams to keep assigned processes accurate and consistent.
  • Support month-end close activities, including journal entry review and approval and monthly account reconciliations.
  • Review quarterly and annual consolidated GAAP financial statements, footnotes, and supporting schedules.
  • Help coordinate external auditors and support the timely completion of the annual audit.
  • Follow accounting procedures and maintain compliance with SOX requirements.
  • Work with internal and external auditors on SOX testing and remediate identified issues.
  • Keep account reconciliations accurate and up to date.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and opportunities to reduce costs across the business.
  • Support the migration and integration of financial systems and applications.
  • Review accounting processes regularly and recommend opportunities for improvement.
  • Complete special projects and financial analyses that support company growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience at a Big Four accounting firm is preferred.
  • Strong critical-thinking skills, with the ability to work strategically while managing detailed execution.
  • At least six years of accounting experience, preferably in a SOX environment.
  • A strong sense of ownership and curiosity to develop new skills.
  • Results-oriented approach and ability to work effectively within a team.
  • CPA certification is preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to summarize complex issues clearly for varied audiences.
