Accounting Analyst at First American (Hybrid - Arizona)
First American is hiring an Accounting Analyst for its Finance Service Center in a hybrid Arizona role. The position handles AP/AR inquiries, expense reviews, reporting, shipping issues, and process improvement support.
Description
- Serve as the initial customer contact for service requests, questions, and issue resolution.
- Respond to internal and external customers and vendors about Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Address shipping concerns in coordination with business partners.
- Review employee expense reports and authorize eligible reimbursements.
- Prepare and evaluate reports, then provide management recommendations based on the results.
- Assist offshore team members with questions, training, and documentation updates.
- Help deliver training when business processes change.
- Contribute to process improvement, cost reduction, and issue-resolution initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Finance Service Center business partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Typically, 2–4 years of analytical or related business experience.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general computer tools.
- Clear analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to investigate issues, identify causes, and implement suitable solutions.
- Ability to coordinate and lead meetings with cross-functional teams.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles.
- Oracle, SAP Concur, and/or Service First experience is preferred.
