3D Interior Designer (Hybrid)

Design photorealistic hospitality spaces for SailGP’s premium guest and fan environments. Create spatial plans, renders, and fit-out documentation for production teams and suppliers.

Description

  • Lead the visual, interior, and experiential design of SailGP’s premium guest and fan spaces
  • Create detailed 3D renders, spatial plans, and fit-out drawings for the Adrenaline Lounge, Vela, VIP viewing areas, and Fan Village activations
  • Develop photorealistic models and renders of hospitality environments and public zones for commercial pitches, executive approvals, and host-city previews
  • Build realistic lighting, material textures, and spatial views that represent the completed environments
  • Manage a central 3D library of standard SailGP furniture, fixtures, bars, and branded architectural elements
  • Prepare detailed floor plans, ceiling plans, and interior elevations for hospitality structures, guest lounges, and sponsor activations
  • Plan spatial circulation, bar and catering layouts, lounge seating, and audiovisual placement
  • Produce FF&E schedules and interior layout packs for procurement and local fit-out contractors
  • Partner with Brand and Marketing to apply brand guidelines and integrate sponsors
  • Work with Infrastructure Planning and Procurement to align materials, furniture ranges, and fit-out elements with inventory and budget limits
  • Ensure interior plans conform to structural footprints set by the Technical Architectural Designer
  • Coordinate with design, site layout, technical architecture, commercial, hospitality, brand, marketing, contractor, supplier, and print teams
  • Work is desk-based and excludes on-site styling and physical installation management

Requirements

  • Expert command of 3D modelling and rendering software such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhino, V-Ray, or Corona, plus 2D drafting tools including AutoCAD or Vectorworks
  • Demonstrated experience in high-end hospitality interiors, spatial design, luxury event environments, or experiential set design
  • Portfolio showing compelling photorealistic renders alongside practical interior floor plan layouts
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to balance premium visual design with budgets, modular reuse, and demanding build schedules
  • Availability to work at least three days per week at the Southampton facility, with occasional additional attendance there
