Supply Chain Forecasting Data Analyst
Turn ERP sales data into demand forecasts and inventory recommendations for Savvital’s international small-business services. The role combines supply chain analysis with customer and SKU-level forecasting.

- Study sales and order history to uncover demand patterns and buying behavior
- Forecast demand by SKU and customer
- Create rolling forecasts spanning 12 to 18 months
- Track year-over-year demand and growth
- Annualize year-to-date usage when appropriate
- Classify demand as steady, seasonal, intermittent, declining, or growing
- Consider units of measure, product categories, and customer purchasing behavior
- Flag unusual demand changes, such as spikes, drops, and products with no usage
- Build scalable forecasting and inventory analysis models in Microsoft Excel
- Create formulas, calculations, PivotTables, lookups, and analytical logic
- Develop rules to guide stocking recommendations
- Create exception reports and alerts
- Evaluate forecasting methods using representative datasets
- Record formulas, assumptions, calculations, and methods
- Extract, organize, clean, and validate large datasets from ERP and other business systems
- Find inconsistencies, missing information, duplicates, and other data-quality problems
- Set up processes for cleaning and validating data
- Use demand trends to guide inventory and stocking decisions
- Contribute to inventory planning and replenishment decisions
- Prepare reports on historical usage, demand trends, forecasts, and recommendations
- Turn complex analysis into practical commercial recommendations
- Help produce inventory and demand reports for customers
- Work independently while partnering with business and supply chain stakeholders
- Lead analytical projects from raw data through recommendations
- Clearly communicate analytical methods, progress, challenges, and findings
- Adjust forecasting methods as business needs or data patterns change

- At least three years of experience in supply chain analytics, demand planning, forecasting, inventory planning, operations analytics, or a closely related analytical role
- Practical experience in demand forecasting and/or supply planning
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

- Experience using SUMIFS and advanced Excel formulas

- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power BI, inventory optimization, demand planning, supply planning, S&OP, manufacturing, wholesale or distribution, industrial supply chains, customer-level forecasting, replenishment models, exception and anomaly reporting, or customer-facing inventory and demand reports is preferred
