  • Own regulatory and compliance escalations for the Healthcare Vertical, embedding HIPAA, HITECH, HITRUST, and related requirements into delivery.
  • Review Deal Gate submissions for regulatory and compliance concerns within the Healthcare Delivery Assurance Office’s five-working-day turnaround.
  • Work with Clinical Leadership and clinical informatics teams to validate commitments involving PHI, clinical workflows, and regulated data.
  • Lead healthcare risk assessments, compliance audits, and control testing.
  • Coordinate HITRUST, healthcare-scope SOC 2, and HIPAA audits with internal control owners and external auditors or regulators.
  • Update Deal Gate trigger criteria and the Governance Charter as healthcare regulations change.
  • Assess regulatory findings and ensure remediation plans address HIPAA and HITRUST requirements and breach-notification deadlines.
  • Provide regulatory evidence and sign-off input for healthcare go-live Operational Readiness Reviews.
  • Represent Rackspace’s healthcare regulatory posture to customers, auditors, and certification bodies.
  • Advise on HIPAA, HITECH, HITRUST, CMS/ONC rules, and state health-data privacy laws.
  • Support due diligence on healthcare vendors and other third parties.
  • Create training and communications about healthcare regulatory obligations for assurance and delivery teams.

आवश्यकताएँ

  • High school diploma or regional equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree; relevant additional experience may substitute at the manager’s discretion.
  • At least two relevant security or GRC certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, CRISC, GRCP, or CGEIT.
  • Healthcare certification HCISPP or CHPS, either completed or in progress.
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT risk, security, or compliance.
  • At least five years focused on healthcare regulatory compliance, including HIPAA and HITRUST, in a provider, payer, or healthcare technology environment.
  • Advanced to expert knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, HITRUST, 42 CFR Part 2, and CMS/ONC interoperability and information-blocking rules.
  • Expert knowledge of IT risk management, GRC, and regulatory audit practices.
  • Working knowledge of AI governance and assurance architecture principles for healthcare data and clinical workflows.
  • Knowledge of healthcare data breach-notification deadlines and regulatory escalation processes.
  • Skills in risk assessment and management, auditing, cybersecurity, analysis, stakeholder management, process improvement, vendor management, strategic planning, and technology integration.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
  • Applicants holding an F-1 OPT visa are not eligible.
