  • Develop statistical analyses and models for clinical and operational data.
  • Deliver opportunity analyses, clinical trends, operational KPIs, predictive models, program evaluations, customer reports, product development analytics, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Help design and build statistical analyses and reports from large datasets.
  • Explore datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Use research and evaluation standards, descriptive statistics, and sound data management practices.
  • Communicate findings verbally, in writing, and visually, and recommend ways to improve performance.
  • Analyze, develop, and enhance analytical and operational business intelligence solutions.
  • Use dimensional modeling and data warehousing methods to create balanced scorecards, dashboards, and KPIs.
  • Keep up with developments, technologies, and best practices in business intelligence.
  • Analyze structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data in partnership with business stakeholders.
  • Create interactive, advanced visualizations in Tableau.
  • Work across business lines to develop a broad understanding of large datasets.
  • Interpret and write complex SQL queries for ad hoc analysis and ETL.
  • Guide and support less experienced colleagues.
  • Lead medium-sized projects through every stage of implementation.
  • Carry out other assigned duties.

  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, technical, healthcare informatics, or mathematics discipline.
  • At least five years of experience in data analytics, data science, data warehousing, data lakes and marts, and metadata management and dimensional modeling.
  • Experience with Epic Clarity and Caboodle data models, reporting tools, and clinical data is highly preferred.
  • Experience supporting Epic Inpatient applications is preferred.
  • Certification in Tableau, Power BI, or a comparable visualization tool is preferred.
  • Proficiency with advanced analytics tools and programming languages such as SAS, R, Python, Java, Spark, Hadoop, Alteryx, and SQL.
  • Proficiency with visualization tools such as Tableau and QlikView is preferred.
  • Epic Cogito Data Warehouse and Caboodle Data Model certification is preferred; Epic certification must be maintained in accordance with Epic Corporation standards.
